The Maxwell Trial-Day 6 Witness "Kate"

Today is Day 6 of the Ghislaine Maxwell Trial. A witness with the pseudonym "Kate" took the stand. "Kate" is not a victim of the alleged crimes described in the indictment against Maxwell because she was above the age of consent when she had sexual contact with Epstein, Judge Nathan told jurors before she began testifying.

What Kate described instead, was a lengthy grooming process initiated by Maxwell whereby "Kate" provided sexual services to Epstein in exchange for money, gifts and the promise of meeting high level connections that would help her with her modeling career.

Just prior to the break, Sternheim-Maxwell's lawyer, asked Kate repeatedly if she was seeking a visa from the US government that would be bolstered through her cooperation with the case.

Kate is from the UK, and stated Maxwell introduced her to Epstein at age 17. She described her sexual interactions with Epstein in Manhattan federal court after he was arrested in 2019.

Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein gave the woman a schoolgirl outfit at his Palm Beach mansion, and requested she serve him tea while wearing the costume.

The witness, identified as “Kate,” said the pleated skirt, white socks and shirt were laid out for her on a bed when she arrived at the mansion with the duo in the early 1990s.

“I thought it would be fun for you to take Jeffrey his tea in this outfit,” Maxwell told her when she asked about it.

Maxwell then gave her a tray, which she took to Epstein, who then engaged in sex acts with her near his pool, she testified. After the sex act, Ghislaine rewarded her with a black Prada bag for her 18th Birthday.

Just prior to the break, Sternheim-Maxwell's lawyer, asked Kate repeatedly if she was seeking a visa from the US government that would be bolstered through her cooperation with the case.

"Kate" denied she was seeking the immigration status, known as a “U visa,” and instead said she plans to remain on her current visa, which is given to immigrants with an “extraordinary ability,” she said.

The defense continued to try to slander "Kate" in an attempt to shatter her credibility. They asked about the time in her life when she was addicted to drugs, as well as the other men she dated. They also attempted once again to ask leading questions with information that would make "Kate" identifiable to anybody who cared to reveal her real identity.

I find this a very bizarre defense strategy, to make the witnesses appear to be poor in this for the money, when in fact the only thing this demonstrates is how Maxwell enticed these girls with expensive gifts, and the promise of being a model or an actress if they would only service Epstein for his "massages." This ultimately led to Maxwell asking "Kate" to recruit other, younger girls for Jeffrey's blow jobs.

More evidence was submitted under seal.

The jury also heard from Patrick McHugh, an executive at JP Morgan who testified about multiple multimillion-dollar wire transfers Epstein made to Maxwell, including for $18.3 million in the late 1990s. McHugh referenced payments in 2007 to a company, “Air Ghislaine,” that was used to buy Maxwell a helicopter. It is not clear who at JP Morgan authorized these wire transfers and where the transfer's originated from.

Maxwell has her license to operate a helicopter, as well as a submarine license. This allowed her to discretely move around people-victims and clients- undetected.

This was interesting, considering the 2019 seizure of nearly 20 tons of Cocaine found onboard a cargo ship with an estimated street value of $1.3 billion — which belonged to JP Morgan Chase. Related? Epstein was arrested in 2019 on July 6, 2019. The bust happened on July 11, 2019.

The last witness of the day was an FBI analyst, Kimberly Meder, who testified about CDs discovered in Jeffrey Epstein’s safe at his Upper East Side townhouse in 2019.

An image found on one of the CDs showed Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein together, she testified.

The analyst wasn’t on the stand long before Judge Alison Nathan called an end to the day. After a long day of hearing from "Kate" about how she was groomed by Maxwell, and passed along to Epstein like a call girl, Kevin Maxwell, Ghislaine's brother spoke outside the courthouse trying to appeal to AG Merrick Garland to step in. He must realize, things are not going well for his sister-This is just the beginning.

Kevin Maxwell raised complaints in front of camera's about her detention. His first demand, that Ghislaine is fed nutritious meals, instead of a boiled egg with toast in the morning. He's demanding she be given fruit and better food. He is demanding she not be placed in shackles. And lastly, he is demanding she not have to wait 90 minutes at the end of the day for her transport, while in shackles. Gee Kevin, it's almost like she's being treated like a prisoner?!?
