Breaking News: Jean-Luc Brunel has been Arrested

According to the Guardian, Jean-Luc Brunel, 74, was arrested by police at Charles de Gaulle airport before boarding a plane to Africa on Wednesday, French officials said.

Paris prosecutors told journalists Brunel was being questioned as part of an investigation opened last year into the alleged rape and sexual assault of minors, sexual harassment, and human trafficking of underage girls for sexual exploitation. Brunel is accused of raping & trafficking models.

He was the founder of MC2, a model agency – one that prosecutors believe was used as as a cover for Epstein’s sex trafficking ring. On October 23, 2020 Canuck News reported on never-seen before photo's of Jean-Luc Brunel that were captured on Jeffrey Epstein's Little St. James Island.

Brunel was a close friend of Epstein, 66, who was found dead in a Manhattan jail cell in August last year while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges. The justice department claimed his death was an “apparent suicide”.

Brunel is alleged to have flown three sisters, 12, from a Paris housing estate to America so they could be abused by Epstein as ‘a birthday present’.

Many of Brunel’s alleged crimes are claimed to have taken place in a Paris apartment owned by Epstein. I've included a map of the properties in question in Paris.

Brunel has previously vehemently rejected allegations made in the press. This week's arrest in Paris ends more than a year of uncertainty and mystery about his whereabouts.

Referring to Brunel, a French prosecuting source said on Thursday: "The suspect is being held in relation to rape, sexual assault, criminal conspiracy and human trafficking, and all the allegations involve minors."

Brunel and Ghislaine Maxwell, daughter of the late press baron Robert Maxwell, and Epstein’s former girlfriend, are alleged to have helped the billionaire financier procure underage girls.

Maxwell is in a New York jail awaiting trial next July on sex-trafficking charges.

Paris-born Brunel, was listed as a passenger on Jeffrey Epstein’s jet at least 25 times.
